Victim injured in major car accident near Willow Avenue on-ramp
According to an incident log from the California Highway Patrol, on Wednesday afternoon, there was a car collision reported in which there were injuries involved on the westbound I-80 Freeway at the Willow Avenue onramp.
As mentioned in the CHP incident log, the accident occurred at about 5:03 p.m. when officers responded to the car wreck.
Additionally, it occurred on the onramp to the westbound traffic lanes.
Moreover, paramedics had to transport the victim to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
As a result, at least one person was listed as injured, although the report did not indicate the severity of injuries or the amount of victims involved. No names were mentioned as well.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
