Car accident left at least one person injured on Highway 99 near Avenue 7 in Madera

As mentioned in a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, February 16th 2018, at 7:41 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a car wreck on State Route 99 near the Avenue 7 off-ramp in the city of Madera.

Moreover, officials report that a vehicle was overturned on its roof when authorities arrived on scene.  Both vehicles were traveling northbound on Highway 99 before the accident occurred, according to CHP.

In addition, at least one person was sent to a near by hospital, however authorities have no word on the severity of the injuries sustained by the injured party.

Currently, this incident is under review by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the accident.
