Car accident resulted in injuries on the 101 Freeway near 3rd St in San Francisco

As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Monday, March 5th 2018, at 6:04 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a vehicle collision that took place on Highway 10 1, just north of the 3rd Street on-ramp in San Francisco.

Furthermore, officials reported that a blue Mazda 3 and a white Ford F-150 were both traveling northbound before the accident occurred. The accident made the Mazda block the No. 3 lane of the highway, according to CHP.

Additionally, at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital, however authorities have no word on the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
