Major vehicle collision leaves at least one person injured on the 10 Freeway near County Line Rd in Yucaipa

As stated in a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday February 12th 2018, at about 6:15 p.m. a multi-vehicle traffic accident left at least one person injured on Interstate 10 just west of County Line Road in the city of Yucaipa.

Furthermore, CHP cited that four vehicles were involved in the traffic accident that left at least one person injured.  A big rig, a Ford sedan, a Toyota Corolla, and a Scion were traveling eastbound on the 10 Freeway before colliding with each other, according to officials.

In addition, one of the vehicles involved in the accident spun out and ended up facing west on the 10 Freeway, as mentioned in the report.  At least one person was injured and transported to a local hospital, however the condition of the injured victim is unclear at the time.

Currently, this traffic accident is undergoing review by authorities to determine the exact cause of the accident and further information will be released one the investigation has concluded.
