Car accident injured at least one person on Interstate 80 near Horseshoe Bar Rd in Loomis

A California Highway Patrol officer reported that on January 31st, at 4:06 p.m. a car collision between a silver pick-up truck and a Toyota 4Runner left at least one person injured on the 80 Freeway near Horseshoe Bar Rd in the city of Loomis.

Furthermore, one of the vehicles was reported to be on center divider wall and the other vehicle had major rear end damage and both vehicles required towing.  It is also reported that an ambulance was called to respond to the car accident due to injuries sustained from the crash. At least one person was taken to a local hospital but the injured party’s condition is yet to be known.

This car crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the accident. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
