Single car crash on the westbound 92 freeway over El Camino in Redwood City injures at least one person

According to police report, a car collision occurred approximately at 2:45 pm Wednesday April 4th, 2018 on westbound 92 freeway over El Camino in Redwood City.

Additionally, a Sigalert was issued for approximately 20 minutes due to #1 Lane being blocked westbound 92 freeway, stated the report.

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by medical personnel. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
