Two victims injured, and one 47-year-old woman killed after two cars crash in Paramount

47-year-old Amalia Rosas died at the scene of a recent car accident that also injured two others at Rosecrans and Orange Avenues in Paramount, per ABC7 local news.

The accident occurred shortly before 4:00 a.m. at Rosecrans and Orange Avenues in Paramount on Saturday morning, where a pickup truck and another car collided.  There was no indication of fault in the accident report, and it is currently being investigated whether speed or alcohol was the major factor.

When firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene, they pronounced a woman dead.  Two others were recovered and were transported to a hospital for treatment with non-life threatening injuries.

Their identities were withheld from the report as well as their ages and genders.

Currently, the crash remains under the investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigators.  No determination of fault was released by the authorities.
