3-year-old girl is killed by a hit-and-run driver in Merced

According to a recent article from Bakersfield Now, there was a pedestrian-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in which a three-year-old girl was killed in a crosswalk.

As reported by the article, police stated that 3-year-old Dayveonna Polk was hit in the crosswalk when she was walking along with her mother and three other children, who had the right-of-way.
