Victim killed in a car crash after a bar brawl in Paramount

According to a recent article from ABC7, there was a hit-and-run car accident early Sunday morning in Paramount where a 29-year-old man was killed and two others were injured.

As mentioned in the article, the accident occurred in the 16000 block of Paramount Boulevard on early Sunday morning, when a 29-year-old man was killed and two others were injured.

The hit-and-run accident occurred right after a bar brawl in Paramount, according to sources.  A witness stated that more than a dozen people were involved in the bar altercation before it ended in a fatal collision about half a block from the establishment.  Two men, a driver and a passenger, two men in their 20’s fled the scene in a dark sedan after injuring the victims.

Authorities arrived and transported the victim to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.  No names were released in the news source, pending the notification of next-of-kin.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department works to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
