17-year-old girl critically injured after being hit in Lancaster street

A 17-year-old girl was critically injured after a major car-pedestrian collision on Avenue I west of 15th Street in Lancaster last Tuesday, said a local news article.

As mentioned in the article, the car crash took place at about 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday when a girl was struck walking down the north side of Avenue I, west of 15th street east.

As a result, the girl was severely injured, said authorities, meanwhile the driver suffered moderate injuries.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
