Whittier, CA – One Killed & One Injured During Motorcycle Collision with Vehicle

Whittier, CA (August 16, 2019) – On Wednesday afternoon, August 14th, a fatal collision that also left one other person injured took place in Whittier. According to authorities, the incident happened on Highway 39 in the Angeles National Forest during the afternoon hours.

Michael Nuke, 46, as reported to have been riding a 2018 Suzuki motorcycle when he ended up in the opposite lane near mile marker 35.68. Nuke Subsequently collided with a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe being operated by a 66-year-old man from Upland.

Nuke was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Tahoe suffered at least minor injuries to his arm and his passenger was uninjured. The investigation is ongoing.
