Pedestrian Accidents in California

According to reports filed in the state of California, a person is struck and killed by a car approximately every two hours. In fact, pedestrian accidents in California were verified to make up 11 percent of all motor vehicle accident-related deaths in the Golden State. These statistics are due to numerous factors such as the vulnerability of the victim at the time of a collision.

As fatal accidents can happen nearly any time, there is absolutely no compensation for the tragic pain and suffering of losing a loved one. Furthermore, many victims and their loved ones are wrongfully burdened by the added stress of high expenses during such a time. Whether you are a victim or bereaved family member, it is important to know that you have significant rights that are protected by law.

At The May Firm, our accident attorneys are committed to holding negligent and blatantly criminal drivers accountable for the devastation they cause. If you have lost a loved one in a pedestrian accident because of a reckless, criminal, or otherwise negligent driver, please don’t hesitate to leave us a message or call (844) 629-3476 for a free consultation with one of our knowledgeable attorneys today.
