West Los Angeles, CA (January 14, 2020) – On Sunday evening, January 12th, a fatal pedestrian collision with a motor vehicle was reported on the Interstate 405 Freeway at Venice Boulevard. Officials stated that an unknown type of vehicle struck a person who was walking in the area at around 7:35 p.m.
Authorities accompanied paramedics at the scene in the northbound lanes of the freeway where the victim was hit and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
At this time, the identity of the victim is being withheld.
The driver involved was reported to have remained at the scene as police began an investigation into the incident. The investigation is ongoing but no further details concerning the events of the incident have been reported.
