Watts, CA (January 6, 2020) – Early Monday morning, January 6th, a man who has not yet been identified was struck and killed by a motor vehicle in Watts around 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of Central Avenue and 112th Street.
According to officials, the victim, identified only as a 40-year-old man, was struck by multiple vehicles at the intersection. One motorist stopped during the incident but all others continued driving. Emergency crews were dispatched to the crash site, where they pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the events that led to this incident.
