Ventura, CA (August 16, 2019) – Police in Ventura confirmed that a motorcyclist died in a collision that took place along the Pacific Coast Highway for unverified reasons. The crash occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 15th.
According to officials with the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist involved collided with a Ford Explorer. However, the events that led to this accident are unclear at this time.
Emergency medical crews arrived at the crash near the Sycamore Cove Beach shortly after the collision. Paramedics worked to save the severely injured rider but were tragically unsuccessful, as he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
No further information has been released.
