Twentynine Palms, CA – 2 Seriously Hurt in Crash on Indian Trail

Twentynine Palms, CA (December 14, 2019) – Two people were seriously hurt in a crash that took place in Twentynine Palms on Thursday, December 12th. The crash happened on Indian Trail near Lear Avenue.

Authorities say that 31-year-old Valerie Jean-Louis was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe westbound on Indian Trial. Jean-Louis failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection. Her vehicle then collided with a Ford F-150 pickup that was traveling southbound on Lear. The two occupants of the Ford have been identified as 59-year-old Laila Gerczak and 68-year-old David Gerczak. Both were seriously hurt in the accident.

Jean-Louis sustained minor injuries in the crash. An investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
