Santa Ana, CA (November 4, 2019) – Early Monday morning, November 4th, a hit-and-run collision left a bicyclist dead in Santa Ana, according to authorities. The incident occurred along Newhope Street at approximately 3:00 a.m.
Officials with the Santa Ana Police Department stated that an unidentified male bicyclist was hit by a vehicle in the 300 block of South Newhope Street. First responders tragically pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Authorities are currently working to establish the events that led to this accident as they search for the driver involved. No more information has been reported.
