Pedestrian Accidents in California

Each year in California there are thousands of people who sustain injuries in a pedestrian accident. Pedestrians are very vulnerable to death and serious injury when they are hit by vehicles. A large number of accidents involving pedestrians are caused by the negligence of motorists on our roadways. This includes drivers who fail to stop at stop signs and crosswalks, and also engage in other negligent driving behaviors such as driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In this crash, it appears unfortunately as though alcohol may have played a role in the injuries suffered by the pedestrian.
