San Diego, CA (February 22, 2020) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following a crash in San Diego on Friday, February 21st. The incident happened around 7:15 a.m. along Highway 52 near Santo Road.
Per reports from the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle collided with a silver Infiniti in the westbound lanes of the highway. The reason and cause for the crash are not known at this time. When rescue workers arrived at the scene, they found a male motorcyclist lying against a barrier on the right-hand shoulder while the motorcycle was in the middle lanes of the roadway. The motorcyclist sustained several injuries, including possibly a broken leg and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol
