San Diego, CA – Brescia Ayon Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Otey Mesa Rd.

San Diego, CA (March 7, 2020) – A 21-year-old woman lost her life in a pedestrian crash that took place in San Diego on Thursday, March 5th. The crash was reported around 9:15 a.m. on Otay Mesa Road, near Center Road.

According to authorities, Brescia Ayon was walking across the road when she was hit by a Nissan Altima traveling westbound on Otay Mesa. Ayon sustained several serious injuries due to the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash caused the closure of Otay Mesa between Brittania Boulevard and La Media Road. There is no information on the driver or the events leading up to the collision. Further investigation is underway at this time.
