Pasadena, CA (October 15, 2019) – A car crash claimed the life of a woman and resulted in the injuries of two children on Tuesday afternoon, October 15th, in Pasadena. Officials stated that the two-vehicle collision took place around 12:00 p.m. on Woodbury Road near Fiske Avenue.
According to police, a woman was operating an SUV when her vehicle overturned during an accident that involved a minivan. Paramedics were present at the scene where they pronounced the unidentified woman deceased.
Two children were also injured in the crash but it is unclear as to which vehicle they occupied at the time. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
We would like to offer our condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time. Our thoughts are with the two injured victims and their families in hopes of their full recovery.
Unfortunately, more than 3,000 California car accidents resulted in fatalities in 2017 alone, and thousands more resulted in minor to catastrophic injuries. Although there are often many different reasons why a collision can occur, you may be entitled to file a claim for compensation in the event that you have been hurt due to the negligent actions of another party.
Because of the extremely high costs of medical bills and physical recovery on top of lost wages, many victims will opt to file a claim for financial recompense. It is our belief that anyone who has operated a vehicle in a negligent manner, resulting in the injuries or death of another person, should be held accountable for their actions.
