Between the years of 2012 and 2016, fatal pedestrian accidents in California sadly rose by 32.8 percent, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety. These types of collisions are so-often fatal due to not only the lack of defense in place for victims but the heedless actions of distracted and otherwise negligent drivers. While it is unquestionably difficult, it is important to safeguard your rights in the immediate moments following a sudden collision of any kind.
