Car accidents happen very suddenly and unexpectedly. Obviously, no one ever gets into a vehicle expecting that they will be involved in a crash. However, the reality is that accidents occur nearly all the time and California remains one of the most dangerous states in the nation for motorists. With negligent drivers all around us, many crash victims simply find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time.
When you have been hurt in a crash with a negligent driver, you may be left feeling anxious and confused about where you should turn next. If you were not at fault or only partially at fault in the crash, you could have valuable legal rights. Under California car accident law, another motorist can be held accountable for your injuries, including your pain and suffering, as well as your medical bills. Only a skilled and experienced California car accident attorney can advise you how you should proceed during this time. It is important to fully understand your rights before you accept any settlement from the other driver.
