Northbound Lane Reopens After Highway 101 Accident

According to The Ventura County Star, a lane on the northbound 101 was closed for a short period of time when collision occurred in south Santa Barbara County on April 19, 2016. Reports state the accident occurred at approximately 7 a.m. near Bates Road in Carpentaria, California.

California Highway Patrol officials say a truck crashed into a dumpster and pulled off to the shoulder. The lane reopened just before 7:30 a.m. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
