Norco, CA (August 16, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized following a motor vehicle accident between two vehicles on Interstate 15 on Thursday morning, August 15th. The collision occurred at approximately 12:39 a.m. in the vicinity of the 6th Street off-ramp, according to police.
The two vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the freeway for reasons that have not been confirmed. The impact of the crash left two people pinned inside the wreckage.
Paramedics accompanied firefighters at the scene where they extricated both parties. Both injured victims were immediately transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries. Their conditions were not reported.
The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of their full recoveries.
Unfortunately, more than 3,000 California car accidents resulted in fatalities in 2017, and thousands more sustained injuries from minor to catastrophic. While there are often many different reasons why a collision can occur, you might be entitled to file a claim for compensation if you have been injured because of the negligent actions of another party.
Due to the extremely high costs of medical bills and physical recovery, as well as lost wages, many victims will choose to file a claim for compensation. We firmly believe that anyone who has operated a vehicle in a negligent manner, resulting in the injuries or death of another person, should be held liable for their behavior.
