Newport Beach, CA (January 7, 2020) – On the morning of Tuesday, January 7th, police responded to the scene of a major crash at a Newport Beach intersection. The accident took place in the northbound lanes of the Pacific Coast Highway at Newport Center Drive sometime around 10:00 a.m.
Authorities stated that the collision resulted in injuries and paramedics were dispatched to the scene to render aid to injured victims. At this time, no details have been provided in regards to the severity of the victims’ conditions.
The area was closed down for approximately one hour following the crash. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
