Menifee, CA (February 25, 2020) – A motorcyclist, now identified as Raul Hernandez, 22, of Winchester, was killed in a head-on collision with a van on Highway 74 at 3rd Street. The fatal collision was reported on Sunday afternoon, February 23rd, at around 3:00 p.m.
According to police officials, a van drove into the path of Hernandez while he was riding a motorcycle in the 27000 block of Highway 74. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene where they pronounced Hernandez deceased.
The highway was closed down for several hours in the area and police began their investigation.
