Malibu, CA (January 14, 2020) – An auto-pedestrian collision that took place in Malibu on Monday, January 13th, left one person with critical injuries. The accident took place in the late afternoon hours at around 5:40 p.m. along Pacific Coast Highway, in the vicinity of Carbon Beach Terrace.
According to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the victim was walking in the 22400 block of PCH when he was struck by an unspecified motor vehicle. First responders were dispatched to the scene where the severely injured man was airlifted to UCLA’s trauma center. He is currently listed in critical but stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene to assist authorities and there has been no word on any charges. The incident is currently under investigation.
