Malibu, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Friday Crash on Pacific Coast Highway

Malibu, CA (September 28, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash that took place on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Friday, September 27th around 7:20 p.m. near Rambla Pacifica.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the accident scene and according to reports, the victim was a man in his 70s who was leaving a nearby restaurant. As he attempted to cross the highway to get to his vehicle, he was struck by a Mini Cooper. The Mini Cooper driver remained at the scene and rendered aid to the man. Unfortunately, the victim later succumbed to his injuries. Neither he nor the Mini Cooper driver have been identified at this time.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing and officials have not released any further details at this time.
