Lynwood, CA – Update: Police Identify Jacob Gutierrez as Man Killed in Crash on 105 Fwy

Lynwood, CA (March 24, 2020) – Local law enforcement officials have identified the man who was killed in a traffic collision Sunday night, March 22nd, as 22-year-old Jacob Gutierrez. The collision was reported at around 7:20 p.m. along the Interstate 105 Freeway in Lynwood.

According to authorities with the California Highway Patrol, several vehicles were involved in the crash along the freeway near Long Beach Boulevard. Emergency responders arrived at the scene where Gutierrez was pronounced deceased.

The official cause of the collision remains under investigation. No further details have been released.
