Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in California

On average, a pedestrian is reported to be struck and killed by a motor vehicle approximately every two hours. Pedestrian accidents in California have been reported to make up 11 percent of all motor vehicle accident deaths in the state. These detrimental statistics are often due to the absolute vulnerability of the victim at the time of a collision, which leaves pedestrians are at a higher risk of suffering serious or even fatal injuries.

Deadly accidents can occur at any time, resulting in not only the pain and suffering of losing a family member but the burden of extremely high expenses as well. While it may be difficult, it is terribly important for bereaved family members to understand that they may likely have substantial rights at this time.
