Los Angeles, CA (December 11, 2019) – On Wednesday morning, December 11th, a motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a semi tractor-trailer in the city of Los Angeles. The crash happened at around 8:51 a.m. along the number 3 and 4 lanes of the Interstate 10 Freeway at Alameda Street.
According to officials with the California Highway Patrol, rescue crews were called to the scene immediately following the incident. Crews with the Los Angeles Fire Department worked at the crash site where they pulled the injured rider from beneath the truck.
The victim was quickly transported to a local hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries. Investigators are actively working to establish the cause of the crash.
