Los Angeles, CA (October 6, 2019) – A 60-year-old woman is dead following a pedestrian accident in Los Angeles. The crash took place around 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4th at the intersection of Century Boulevard and Baring Cross Street.
Police say that Elvia Bercian was walking northbound across Century Boulevard in the Vermont Vista neighborhood when she was hit by a Toyota Corolla. The crash knocked Bercian into the roadway where she was then run over by a pickup truck. The pickup truck driver fled the scene following impact.
