Figures released by the California Office of Traffic Safety showed that fatal pedestrian accidents in California increased by around 32.8 percent between 2012 and 2016. Auto-pedestrian collisions are recurrently severe due to the utter defenselessness of bystanders, as well as such reasons as the terribly reckless behavior of careless drivers. It is vital for victims or bereaved loved ones to take the proper steps to protect their rights and hold negligent parties responsible during such a time.
