California was determined to have the 15th highest rate of fatal pedestrian collisions in the United States. This data was reported with reserve for the first six months of 2017, alone. During that time, approximately 352 people were hit and killed in accidents with motor vehicles. Pedestrians are at substantial risk of enduring devastating or fatal injuries during a California pedestrian accident.
Victims and their loved ones are left with tremendous pain and suffering on top of the overwhelming challenge of covering high costs. After such an unexpected accident, especially one caused by a DUI driver, it becomes essential to know that you may likely have serious rights to follow.
