Long Beach, CA – Multi-Vehicle Pileup Reported on 405 Fwy near Lakewood Blvd

Long Beach, CA (November 14, 2019) – Police have stated that at least 10 motor vehicles were involved in a collision along the 405 Freeway in Long Beach. The incident was first reported at around 5:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway, in the vicinity of the Lakewood Boulevard exit.

Officials with the California Highway Patrol stated that early on Thursday morning, November 14th, authorities responded to the scene where a minimum of 10 vehicles crashed. Emergency medical crews quickly arrived at the scene to render aid to the injured parties.

Police have not confirmed the number of those involved but all injuries appear to be non-life threatening. The official cause of the collision remains under investigation.
