Long Beach, CA – Bicyclist Injured in Crash with Car on Clark Ave

Long Beach, CA (September 7, 2019) – A bicyclist in Long Beach was seriously injured in a crash that took place on Thursday, September 5th. The crash happened near the intersection of Los Coyotes Diagonal and Clark Avenue.

According to authorities, an unidentified male bicyclist was riding in the northbound lanes of Los Coyotes when he was hit by the vehicle. The man suffered major injuries to his lower body. He was taken to a local area hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities during the police investigation. No one else was injured in the accident and police do not believe that the crash was caused by drugs or alcohol at this time.

No further details have been released.
