Lake Elsinore, CA (March 4, 2020) – A pedestrian who was tragically struck and killed by a motor vehicle Monday, March 2nd, has now been identified as 27-year-old Charles Wiley. The fatal accident happened at around 3:14 a.m. on Camino Del Norte, a little north of Ohana Street in Lake Elsinore.
According to officials with the Riverside County Fire Department, Wiley was walking in the 18800 block of Camino Del Norte when he was hit by an unspecified vehicle. The motorist involved remained at the scene as emergency crews arrived to assist the victim.
Wiley sadly succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The cause of this incident remains under investigation.
