Many pedestrians lose their lives each year in California. Nearly 900 people were killed in pedestrian crashes in our state in 2016. In addition to fatalities, there were be thousands more who were seriously hurt as a result of pedestrian crashes.
When a pedestrian accident takes place, an investigation into the cause of the accident must be undertaken. Police will look at the physical evidence from the scene, interview witnesses, and make a determination as to which driver was responsible for the collision.
