Hollywood, CA (August 31, 2019) – Two pedestrians suffered injuries in a DUI crash that took place in Hollywood on Wednesday, August 28th. The crash occurred at the intersection of North Highland Avenue and Franklin Avenue just after 11:00 p.m.
The pedestrians were walking near the roadway when they were struck by a vehicle. Rescue workers arrived on the scene and transported the injured pedestrians to a local hospital. There is no word on the exact nature of the injuries suffered by the pedestrians and they have not been identified at this time.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. An investigation into the crash is ongoing and, at this time, police believe that the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. There is no further information available.
