Hancock Park, CA – 2 Killed & 1 Critical After Major Crash on N Highland Ave

Hancock Park, CA (March 30, 2020) – A two-vehicle collision resulted in two deaths and left one other person critically injured on Monday morning, March 30th, in Hancock Park. The fatal accident was reported at around 2:00 a.m. on North Highland Avenue, in the vicinity of Melrose Avenue.

According to police, two BMW sedans collided at high speed along the roadway. At least one of the vehicles burst into flames during the crash and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene.

One person had to be extricated from the burning car by firefighters. That victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Two other victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.

An investigation into the official cause of this incident remains ongoing.
