Garden Grove, CA (October 13, 2019) – Two people, including a child, were killed after being hit by a vehicle in Garden Grove on Saturday, October 12th. The crash occurred around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Garden Grove Boulevard and Nelson Street.
Authorities were called to the scene in the immediate aftermath of the accident. When they arrived, they found a man and a child at the scene. Both victims were pronounced dead by rescue workers. There is no word on the identity of the victims or their exact ages. There is also no information on how the crash occurred. Police say that the driver who struck the two individuals remained at the scene and cooperated with the crash investigation.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing and no further information has been released at this time.
