East Los Angeles, CA (March 5, 2020) – A man in his 30s was tragically struck and killed by a motor vehicle on the 5 Freeway at Indiana Street in East Los Angeles. The fatal collision was reported at around 4:35 a.m. on Thursday morning, March 5th.
According to officials with the California Highway Patrol, an unspecified vehicle hit a pedestrian who walking in the area. Emergency crews arrived at the scene where they rendered aid to the victim who sadly succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Authorities are presently investigating the cause of the collision.
