Chula Vista, CA – 5 Hurt in Thursday Crash on East Paisley Street

Chula Vista, CA (December 14, 2019) – A chain-reaction crash in Chula Vista left multiple people hurt on Thursday, December 12th around 6:00 p.m.

Authorities responded to the intersection of East Paisley Street and Monserate Avenue shortly after the collision. According to reports, a truck driver failed to slow for traffic and struck another vehicle. The second vehicle was pushed into a driveway where it collided with a parked car and two individuals who were working on the parked vehicle. One of the cars caught fire after the accident.

The two people working on the vehicle were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Two occupants of the truck were treated for minor injuries. The crash is under investigation by the Chula Vista Polie Department at this time.
