Bakersfield, CA (February 16, 2020) – The motorcyclist who was killed in a crash that took place in Bakersfield on Friday, February 14th has been identified.
According to reports, Deion Nobles was riding his bike on Chester Avenue when he was struck by a pickup truck. The driver of the truck was identified as Torres Dawson. Nobles suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the crash scene.
Following an investigation, police arrested Dawson for DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter. He was later booked into the Kern County Jail. The Bakersfield Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
No additional details have been released.
