Bakersfield, CA – At Least 1 Hurt in Crash on Highway 58

Bakersfield, CA (November 9, 2019) – A two-car crash with injuries was reported on Highway 58 in Bakersfield on Thursday, November 7th. The crash happened around 6:00 p.m.

Troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene. According to reports, a white pickup truck and a semi were involved in the crash. The collision caused the pickup to be pinned underneath the semi. The driver of the pickup was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were described as major. There is no further update on his condition at this time. It is unclear whether anyone else was hurt in the crash.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
