Bakersfield, CA – 16-Year-Old Boy Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on Columbus St.

Bakersfield, CA (December 28, 2019) – A 16-year-old boy was injured in a pedestrian crash in Bakersfield on Friday, December 27th. The crash took place around 7:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Columbus Street.

According to reports, the boy suffered moderate to major injuries as a result of the collision. There is no information on what led up to the incident. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The boy was not in a crosswalk when the crash took place.

Police are still investigating and have yet to determine who was at fault. There is no additional information available at this time.
