Anaheim, CA (January 8, 2020) – On Tuesday morning, January 7th, a multi-vehicle collision resulted in injuries and an overturned vehicle in Anaheim. The incident was reported to authorities in the 2700 block of West Broadway, in the vicinity of Dale Avenue.
According to officials, the operator of a Kia Forte collided with a Honda Civic that was in the process of parking alongside the roadway. The collision caused the Kia to strike two other parked vehicles before overturning. Flying debris also struck two other nearby vehicles during the crash.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene at around 11:10 a.m. where the female driver of the Honda was eventually transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of her injuries was not reported and police are currently conducting an investigation into this accident.
Our thoughts are with the victim and her family at this time. We hope for a full recovery.
Distracted or intoxicated driving, alongside other factors such as high speeds, frequently contributes to serious collisions. In fact, research has shown that over 3,000 California car accidents ended with fatalities in 2017, alone. Following an unexpected collision, the costs of hospital bills alongside continued physical recovery and lost wages recurrently results in a claim for compensation. During such a time, it is important to hold those who carelessly cause the suffering of others, accountable for their actions.
