Anaheim, CA (November 10, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash involving a freight train in Anaheim. The crash took place on Saturday, November 9th around 9:20 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene at the intersection of Esperanza Road and Imperial Highway. According to reports, 46-year-old Qun He, of Anaheim, was at the intersection with when he was hit by a BNSF Railway Company train. He was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The crash caused the closure of the tracks for about three hours while investigators worked at the scene. At this time, there is no word on why He was on the tracks.
No further details have been released.
